God is a loving God who always welcomes his people. Isaiah 1:1-18 gives us a description of the apostasy of the Israelites in times of old. The standards of God has been downplayed in these modern times with righteousness being replaced by so much prayers. Until one relates his conceptual thoughts with biblical standards and comes to term with God to know the truth then that person is lost.
Romans 1:18-32 gives an account of what will happen to those who have seared of their minds of Gods truth and have been given of to their evil desires. You are not doing God a favour by serving Him. As believers we need to obey the word of God by being completely filledwith the knowledge of Christ.
In the first scripture reading the little girl from Israel brought a good account of a prophet in Israel who could heal Naaman of his leprosy and is of this good account he received his healing. As Christians in order to be transformed we need to be informed. Jesus welcomes each one of us by the work on the cross but the choice to receive him is ours. Are you ready to receive him?
