Osei Bonsu Junior is my name. I was born on the 24th of July, 2000 at Akwatia in the Eastern region, where I currently reside. I am the penultimate of 5 children, as well as the last of 3 sons. I had my basic education at the St. Dominic's Basic School at Akwatia, where I had the privilege of serving as the Senior Boys' Perfect. By God's grace, I went on to Mfantsipim School, where I read General Science. While in high school, I had the opportunity to hold a number of leadership positions in various club and societies.

Life on campus has been nothing short of a miracle. It has been a cocktail of experiences, emotions and memories I wouldn't trade for anything else. I have been blessed with some amazing friends in every area, with NUPS-G KNUST being no exception, who help me look beyond the immediate challenge. I have learnt, and I am still learning, what it means to spend and be spent, as well as how to acknowledge God in all my ways.

If I am ever asked to describe myself in 3 words, I would say I am cool, calm and collected. I love to see my friends smile and I try to sustain a genuine interest in everyone I meet. At the other end of the spectrum, I also spend a lot of time by myself in order to recharge my "social battery".

I had the privilege of serving as the Bible Study Wing representative for the Independence Hall during the 2020/2021 academic year. Currently, I serve as the Vice President Technology for Enactus KNUST. Enactus is a global non-profit community of students committed to transforming lives through entrepreneurial action. I also serve as a student ambassador for the Huawei Certified ICT Academy - KNUST.

My Christian journey has been mundane yet miraculous. I was blessed to be born into a Christian home. I believe if there is any part of my life worth emulating, all the credit primarily goes to God and then to my parents, teachers and mentors and friends who have helped train me in the way I should go.

In first year, I was introduced to the Bible Study Wing by my shepherd, Mark Otu(Dada Otu). There, I found myself in a wonderful family committed to building each other up through a constant study of the word. At the beginning of this academic year however, I joined the prayer wing too and I have been blessed by all the wonderful people I have met there too.

NUPS-G KNUST has been an eye opening, faith building experience for me. For someone who wasn't very sure if I wanted to identify as a Presbyterian in the university, the opportunity to participate NUPS-G activities has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

For someone who believes in that a good social and co curricular portfolio is as important as the my academic commitment, there's always the need to strive for balance, ensure effective time management and ask for help as often as I need to. I also believe that everywhere God has placed me is an opportunity to reflect Christ as the light of the world, and so I constantly rely on the Holy Spirit for grace.

In my free time, I like to read, read and read again. I am currently single due to personal reasons, although just like the Prophet Habbakuk, I strongly believe that the vision is unto an appointed time and God does make everything beautiful in his time.

Serving the Kingdom Way has been an eye opening semester focus for me. I have learnt that the backbone of our Christian faith, gifts and graces is to serve others in a way that God may may be glorified.

Finally, if you managed to read this far, thank you. Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, for those who are called to his purpose. And so let's be rest assured that God loves us enough to have unique plan for each us. And that when we give him glory by carefully following his commands, he honours too.
